Chris is the founder, chairman and president of ASPEED Technology Inc. Chris founded ASPEED in 2004 after recognizing the potential of the cloud computing market. He was dedicated to research and development of server management SoC. Chris was responsible for all aspects of the business, including product planning, strategy development, production, sales, and marketing. Under his leadership, ASPEED has grown from a start-up into a successful publicly-traded company in Taiwan and is now the world's largest supplier of Baseboard Management Controller (BMC). Prior to starting ASPEED, Chris served as a General Manager at XGI Technology Inc., a spun-off division from Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS) in 2003 where he was responsible for the development of the graphics chip. Prior to XGI, Chris held a technical and management position at SiS where he established and led the multimedia/graphics chipset design team. Chris holds two master’s degrees: an EMBA from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. He was recognized as the Distinguished Alumnus of National Chiao-Tung University in 2020.
Mr. CJ Hsieh is the Chief Operating Officer of ASPEED Technology. He graduated from USC with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. With nearly 30 years of experience in IC design and semiconductor industries, Mr. Hsieh held senior management positions in global operations, procurement, R&D, and sales at various companies. Prior to joining ASPEED Technology, Mr. Hsieh joined Intel in 2015 and served as the General Manager of Intel Innovation Technologies Limited from 2018 to 2021; he served as the Vice President of Lantiq from 2010 to 2015; and served as the Associate Vice President of Faraday Technology from 2001 to 2009, with extensive experience in semiconductor market and chip R&D.
Mr. Luke Chen is the Vice President of Sales at ASPEED where he is responsible for managing all aspects of strategic planning, sales and marketing. Luke is a successful business development professional. His business experience and education have aided him in developing strong skills in product marketing and business development. Prior to joining ASPEED, Luke served as an Assistant Vice President of Marketing at Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS). And prior to SiS, he served as a Deputy General Manager of Marketing at NITS Technology Inc. Luke holds an EMBA from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.
Mr. Hung-Ju Huang is the Vice President of R&D at ASPEED . Hung-Ju has extensive technical experience. He has demonstrated achievement and success in developing IC products including architecture, design and development and leading the highly technical team. Prior to joining ASPEED, Hung-Ju served as a Senior R&D Manager at Silicon Integrated Systems Corp. (SiS). And prior to SiS, he served as an Assistant Vice President of R&D at XGI Technology Inc. Hung-Ju holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
